IWLA York Chapter's trout Co-op program

The IWLA is dedicated to the conservation of our natural resources. As part of that effort York Chapter #67 runs a very successful Trout CO-OP
We raise 8000 trout, Brooks, Rainbows, Browns and Hybrid Goldens from fingerlings in October each year to adult hood for stocking in the Codorus watershed from March until June of each spring.
We stock Codorus South and East Branches, Muddy Run Felton, Kiwanis lake and any kids fishing derby we can find.
Our goal this year is to teach as many people as we can, how to care for and stock the fish, and work the fishing Derby. Please contact me if you have any interest in being a part of the club's trout Co-op.
Come on out and lend a hand, it's more fun than you think it is, it has to be!
